They are delicious when you incorporate fresh fruit, dried fruit, nuts, herbs, spices, chocolate or caterpillars (just checking to see if you are reading carefully, I wouldn’t actually incorporate the last ingredient). But I think you...

Bad Girls Club
Every once in a while if I am hosting a dinner party, or I’m feeling saucy, I’ll cook up an interesting meat dish. I always use local, sustainably raised, organic, hormone-free meats, as this is so important, not only for the animals, but also for you and for the world that you live in.
This particular dish is wonderful because it is so versatile. I had enough chicken for two meals. For...

Oh my freaking yummy! Now, this restaurant has a mix of healthy selections and more decadent ones, but even the Healthfood stalker understands that we all have to live a little! Rustic Canyon Wine Bar prides themselves on using local and sustainable meat and produce, and has a menu that rotates with the seasons. The atmosphere is very inviting and they have a very nice list of wines and...
EdIbLe LoS aNgElEs Part 4. Lemonade
Before I decided to try Lemonade I took a look at the menu on the cafe’s website (as I so often do), and I must say I was perplexed by the marketplace section. The menu is comprised of delicious food pairings that seem to go on forever. I wondered “do they only have a few of these dishes daily?” “Is this a joke?” “Is this a list of all the things that I would want but...

BIALYstock and bloom
If you have never had a bialy before I am going to have to ask you to leave now. NO, wait, you can redeem yourself by marching down to your local deli OR by making my lovely spelt version! A bialy is the beautiful, long, loving marriage between an onion/poppy seed bagel and an English muffin. Mmm, so perfect. And the best thing about the bialy is that it is very diverse. It is delicious in so...
